Huashan Hospital Wins Four Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Awards

The 2025 Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award ceremony was held on Aug. 12. The project Research, Development and Application of a Multimodal Diagnosis and Treatment System for Moyamoya Disease by the neurosurgery team of Professor Gu Yuxiang at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University won the first prize.

The project Establishment and Innovative Application of a Precision Imaging Diagnosis System for Solid Tumors by the radiology team of Professor Yin Bo, and the project Mechanistic Exploration and Clinical Application of Rehabilitation for Motor Dysfunction After Brain Injury by the rehabilitation medicine team of Professor Bai Yulong, both won third prizes. The project Innovation and Application of Key Multimodal Imaging Technologies for Major Brain Diseases by Zhang Jun, Cao Xin and colleagues won the youth award. Huashan Hospital took four awards in total, one first prize, two third prizes and one youth award, spanning neurosurgery, radiology, rehabilitation medicine and other disciplines, reflecting the hospital's comprehensive strength in cerebrovascular disease diagnosis and treatment, precision imaging diagnosis of tumors, neurorehabilitation and multimodal imaging technology innovation.
