Stomatology Center Affiliated to Shanghai University School of Medicine Unveiled

On Sept. 20, the unveiling ceremony of the Stomatological Medical Center Affiliated to Shanghai University School of Medicine and the launch ceremony of the National Teeth Love Day (Sept. 20) public welfare campaign were held at Shanghai More Dental Hospital.

On the same day, the More Dental Big Health Industry Research Center of Shanghai University School of Medicine and the Clinical Research Institute for Geriatric Oral Diseases of Shanghai University School of Medicine were officially established within the More Group, together with the launch of the 920 Teeth Love Day and Smiling Ambassadors Public Welfare Campaign. The two sides will explore mechanisms for the joint appointment and sharing of high-level talent and the mutual appointment of experts, jointly build a first-class stomatology center, and strengthen clinical research on geriatric oral diseases. Relying on the school's research strengths in artificial intelligence, robotics and biomaterials, the More Group will carry out innovation projects including the R&D of clinical dental assistant robots and the development of a large-scale model for the dental care industry.

Chen Jun, medical president of Shanghai More Dental Hospital, said the hospital will continue to strictly standardize its clinical procedures, introduce and absorb internationally advanced technologies, and tighten medical safety and quality control to protect patients' oral health.
