Shanghai Ninth Hospital Staff Take Multiple Awards at the 14th Shanghai Medical Workers' Science and Technology Innovation "Starlight Plan"

At the 14th Shanghai Medical Workers' Science and Technology Innovation "Starlight Plan" competition organized by the Shanghai Medical Workers' Union, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital won one first prize, two second prizes, two third prizes and two finalist awards, with two staff members also named Innovation Stars. Wang Yueping of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial-Head and Neck Oncology won the first prize for the "Self-Adhesive Bidirectional Fixation Device for Tracheostomy Tubes." Second prizes went to Zhu Dongqing of the Department of Ophthalmology for "Development and Clinical Application of a Suprachoroidal Injection Device" and Hao Guihua of the Department of General Surgery I for "Design and Clinical Application of a Suspended Transoral Endotracheal Tube Fixator Based on 3D Printing Technology." Third prizes were awarded to Zhang Wenbin of the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Surgery for an integrated titanium plate assembly, and to Ji Yongrong of the Department of Ophthalmology for the "Artificial Intelligence Strabismus Screening System." Wang Yueping and Hao Guihua were additionally honored with the title of "Staff Innovation Star."
