Shuguang Hospital Anhui Hospital Wins Two Third Prizes at the 7th China Ethnic Medicine Association Science and Technology Awards

The review results of the 7th China Ethnic Medicine Association Science and Technology Awards have been announced, and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Shuguang Hospital Anhui Hospital has won two third prizes. Vice President Zhou Zhenhua contributed to "Construction and Clinical Application of the Xin'an Medical Theoretical System for Epidemic Diseases," which received a third prize in the science and technology category; the project was completed jointly by the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine, Anhui University of Chinese Medicine and the hospital. "Promotion and Application of a New Protocol for Treating Chronic Heart Failure Based on the 'Yin Ping Yang Mi' (balance of yin and yang) Theory," hosted by Liu Yongming, an expert dispatched from Shuguang Hospital, also received a third prize, with Sheng Sheng of the hospital among its main contributors.

That project was jointly submitted by Shuguang Hospital, Shanghai Seventh People's Hospital and the Anhui hospital. Both achievements involved deep participation by experts dispatched from Shuguang Hospital, reflecting the transfer of high-quality resources from the main hospital to the branch and collaborative research across the two regions.
