Specialists Reach the Community, Bringing Health for the Double Ninth Festival: Jing'an Temple Subdistrict Health Carnival Opens

The Jing'an Temple Subdistrict Respect for the Elderly Month event and the "Heart Home, Specialists in the Community" health carnival, held under the theme "Joining Hands for Shared Strength, Enjoying a Peaceful Home Together," featured a dedicated session by Fudan University Huadong Hospital at the subdistrict community party and mass service center. Jin Jianping, Party Secretary of Huadong Hospital, said the hospital will continue to draw on its professional strengths, push high-quality medical resources down to the community level, and keep improving service quality with "healthy aging" as its goal. Fourteen service booths were set up in the outdoor fair, with experts from seven Huadong Hospital departments providing health consultations, joined by booths offering policy consultation, legal services and assistive device rental.

On the first floor, the hospital's immersive "River of Life" interactive health exhibition focused on kidney and urinary system health, where residents could collect a "Kidney Journey Passport" and join a stamp-collecting activity. On the second floor, three Huadong Hospital specialists gave health science talks that were livestreamed online. The subdistrict and the hospital have jointly built a "medical and elderly care express," creating a "15-minute happy aging living circle.
