Shanghai City Channel's Lohas Shanghai Spotlights Xiyanghong Dental

On Sept. 14, Shanghai City Channel's Lohas Shanghai aired a special program titled Dentures Can Be Replaced and Adjusted at Any Time: A Worry-Free Solution to Denture Problems for the Elderly, turning the camera to Xiyanghong Dental Outpatient Clinic, which specializes in oral restoration for middle-aged and elderly patients. Through an ordinary follow-up visit by 57-year-old Mr.

Yang and his 84-year-old mother, the program recorded the denture experience of an elderly woman with total tooth loss, from extracting tooth roots to preserving tooth roots. Previously, several hospitals had told her that the roots had to be removed, but the Xiyanghong dentist, after careful examination, believed the roots could be preserved as far as possible. The program also recorded the entire process of a free replacement and adjustment: when Uncle Yang lost a tooth, he came to the clinic the previous Wednesday for an examination and an impression, which was then sent to the lab for fabrication, and only four or five days later the new tooth was ready and could be worn the same day.

The clinic also provides a spare denture box service: within two to three years after the first fitting, if remaining teeth fall out one after another, patients can bring the lost teeth to the clinic to have replacements made as needed and sent to the lab for processing, and can wear them immediately upon collection and eat right away.
