Xinhua Hospital Party Committee Holds Commendation Meeting for Outstanding Party Members and Organizations

The Party Committee of Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine held a commendation meeting in the lecture hall of its science and education building, honoring outstanding Party members, outstanding Party affairs workers and advanced primary-level Party organizations. The meeting aimed to encourage Party organizations, cadres and staff hospital-wide to carry forward the revolutionary tradition and advance the high-quality development of the hospital's multi-campus system. Party Secretary Yu Tao delivered a special Party lecture, noting that 2026 marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, and the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

He said the hospital will build on its “three orientations” functional positioning and six core development goals as it moves toward becoming a leading domestic medical center with international influence across the full life cycle. This year, Cui Xingang was named an Outstanding Party Member by the Shanghai Municipal Education and Health Work Party Committee; Wang Dengbin was named an Outstanding Party Affairs Worker; and the Party branch of the Developmental-Behavioral Child Health Department was named an Advanced Primary-Level Party Organization. Commemorative medals were also presented to veteran Party members with 50 years of Party standing.
